Kate obtained a degree in Kinesiology from Lakehead University in 2004.
While an undergraduate, she studied for a semester overseas at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, Australia.
In 2005, Kate moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, where she obtained her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Queen Margaret University.
In 2007, she returned to Canada and soon began work with the Toronto District School Board as a member of the Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy support services team.
While living in Toronto, Kate married and has two delightful little boys. Both she and her husband had grown up in small towns and found themselves wanting a quieter lifestyle. They made their move to Prince Edward County in 2018.
After ten years of professional experience helping children in the Toronto District School Board, Kate continues to work within the school system, and is now also providing private consultation services to both children and adults/seniors.
